From 17th to 22nd September 2008 Dah ljubavi and choir “Bedem” were engaged in television performances and solo concerts in Istanbul. In a short period, artists from Bosnia-Herzegovina were invited as guest in Ramadan programs in the most popular turkish televisions. First iftar program was performed by TRT at Topkapi Palace, while one day later, at the same time, Kanal 7 prepared a program in front of Sultan Eyub mosque. All programs were performed live in the presence of a large audience. Television stations like Show TV, Kanal Turk and ATV invited “Dah ljubavi” and choir “Bedem” to be their guests and perform in their programs, too. ATV and Kanal Turk carried out sehur programs, which was a new experience for all performers.

Dah ljubavi and choir “Bedem” held two solo concerts in front of numerous turkish guests and Bosnians, who live and work in Istanbul. The first concert was held on 19 September 2008 in the asian part of Istanbul, in the municipality of Baglarbasce, while the second concert was held the next day in the great hall of “Feshane” in the european part of the city. Both concerts were organized by the City of Istanbul. From hospitality to the technical realization and support, everything was arranged in an excellent way.

All performers were offered visits to cultural and historic monuments. We were honoured to have the opportunity to talk to respectable Istanbul mayors and artists. It was a pleasure to exchange experiences with the famous Turkish producer Hakkan Aykut, who produced the CD project “Dervishane”.
